Easy Invoice - Subscription payments not visible in payer dashboard #206
Description
Problem
When a user subscribes to a subscription plan (as a payer), the payment appears in the merchant's "Subscribers" dashboard but does NOT appear in the payer's "Payments" section. This means payers have no visibility into their subscription payments from their own dashboard.
From the demo:
"And I should be able to see it. Under payment. As I am here, like the payer, the one that is subscribing to the plan, I should be able to see another payment section."
"It would be up at the top, I think... However, I don't see anything under the payer. Dashboard. Payments subscribers, I should be able to."
David confirmed this is a bug:
"Yes. So I believe the intention is for it to show up here in the payments. So why didn't it? I don't know. That might be a bug. Because it showed up in subscribers. It showed up on the Merchant side. It did not show up on the payer side, on the customer side."
Proposed Solution
Ensure subscription payments are displayed in the payer's Payments dashboard section, showing:
- The subscription they signed up for
- Payment history
- Status of the subscription
Considerations
- Data exists on the merchant side (Subscribers view works)
- The payer-side query or display logic is likely missing or broken
- Important for users to track their own subscription commitments
