So I've been lazily wondering what, if any, formal responsibilities I might have as a member of the space. This sort of thing is usually spelled out in a club/corporation's by-laws. I wonder if this would be a decent place to publish those. You almost certainly wouldn't want anyone who isn't on the board of directors to be able to edit them, and I imagine they spell out a procedure that would forbid even the board from changing them without following that procedure, so the master branch should be practically immutable. Maybe github isn't the ideal place to host this, but I'm unaware of anywhere else I can find them online. The articles of incorporation are usually a nice thing to have a reference to somewhere too, though that doc would probably be more interesting for the board than the membership, and even then only barely.

It's been on my list to convert the bylaws and other policies to markdown and add them to this repository. We could then get into the habit of making changes via PR, and we'd have a complete changelog of everything.
