Steamos 3.9 (Rog Xbox Ally X) Night mode is broken

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Epxected: Screen night mode turning on and color temperature may be configured
Actual: Night mode toggle is on, no color temperature changes. No temporary temperature changes while configure.

This thing just did not work.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Go to settings -> display
2. Set color temperature up to cold or hot
3. Turn night mode on

Same behavior on turning night mode on through QAM

It works, but only on external displays. Internal has the issue.

I also have this issue. When using it in cursor mode (hold down the xbox button and the move the right joystick), it will turn the night light on, but as soon as I switch back to the built in gamepad again, it gets rid of night light.
