Aliases and wildcards are not supported - read-only mode please

Hi guys,

In our scenario, index names have dates in their names, Logstash style. For ease of use, we surf them using aliases and wildcards, only for searches, that is.

Trying to input alias name in GEM Appname input results in Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'mappings' of undefined being printed in console.

I understand that working on multi-index wildcard/alias will not allow mapping updates through UI, but again, our case is exploring only, and this tool can still be very useful in read-only mode.

Is this something you can look into?

@haizaar sorry for the late response. Yes, alias support will be added in the next release.

As for wildcard / multi-index support, will think how we can support that.
