Kstars don't run after update-astroarch

Hi,
after having installed last release and executed command "update-astroarch" there are missing libraries.
Kstars & PHD2 not starting with these errors

root@astroarch astronaut]# kstars
kstars: error while loading shared libraries: libraw.so.23: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

root@astroarch astronaut]# phd2
/usr/bin/phd2.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libopencv_gapi.so.412: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Using initial image kstars was running fine and also phd2.

Could you help me to find missing libraries and how to install?

Same problem - I wrote a temp script to redirect libs but its not ideal. The Pi camera indi driver seems to break as the system updates to python 3.14 which seems incompatible.

Any idea to solve this issues? I've tried also to reinstall stable version of kstars/indi in stable version but nothing; error still remains.

I've also faced the same issue but got a backup SD card and have no time to try this, but has anyone tried using astro-rollback-full?
I don't know if this could make it worse, though.

Hi,

I solved temporarily the issue by:

• disabling astromatto repo
• updating the system with pacman -Su

You then got a kstars working with the last libraries. The problem is PHD2 which is not available in Arch repo and is broken because of OpenCV update. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be an ABI break for PHD2 so you can have it running by linking all the libopencv_.so.413 to libopencv_.so.412 so PHD2 starts (and worked, tested two nights). There are many to lin, so better use a shell script.

Without change in the update-astroarch script, this issue is unfortunately going to happen again as Arch is updating faster than Astromatto. In this case, I didn't find anyway back. Unlike x86 packages, Arch doesn't keep old aarch64 package so you are left with a broken system till astromatto is updated or you decide to compile yourself the broken packages.

So I have two suggestions for the devs, to avoid this happening again:

• keep all dependencies of software in astromatto repo, to prevent and update in Arch to break a critical library
• and/or modify the update-astroarch script to update Arch packages only if they are older than the Astromatto packages

i've created symbolink link using this script for all library libopencv and manual link for libopencv_gapi.so.412. It works also after update-astroarch that I run more times.
