add pickList to template engine, to enable rendering a list from existing ldap entries during entry creation

To use a template sambaSamAccount.json it would be helpful to collect the sambaSID from the sambaDomain entry.
It seems pickList is not available and i also didn't find any replacement to collect data from entries to make the value available in the form.

Are there any plans to provide pickList or something similar to make such kind of templates possible? Is there maybe another possibility to autofill values based on attributes of other entries?

I just have seen the ealier xml templates provided a bite more functionality, i.e. helper and post functions.

It seems helpers are part of attributes now. For this specific case pickList will only fetch the value but will not concat a calculated value. What can be a potential solution? Adding some possiblities to pickList to concat a value or creating another function in Template.php to calculate the sambaSID of a user (same principle as GetNextNumber is working).

Last but not least it's possible necessary to extent the password helper with NT and LM encryption to autoFill the relevant fields.

I'm not sure if i understood the architecture of PLA correct or my ideas are maybe the wrong way.
