Code apps are being forcibly mobile redirected to Power Apps mobile app when it just Web Based.

This is an annoying bug. Code app is advertised as a web only platform. When the link is opened in a mobile (android or ios) the app auto redirects to the installed "Power Apps" If code apps architecture is web based then msft should not redirect the app to open in a native mobile app.

If it is a web only platform, why force the links to open in mobile app when it is not supported????

The mobile redirect logic:

if (isMobile && !skipMobileRedirect && !isEmbedded && !isCodeApp) → redirect
?skipMobileRedirect=true is an undocumented query parameter that explicitly tells Power Apps to skip the mobile redirect page. This is built into their JavaScript.

Microsoft bug found: Power Apps already has a isCodeApp check that should auto-bypass the redirect for Code Apps, but the server returns "AppType":"ClassicCanvasApp" for your Code App instead of the correct type.

How did you get the link to access the power apps? From the CLI? Bookmarked? Maker portal?

Code apps actually use a new URL. The url should be apps.powerapps.com/e/"id"/app/"id" and that url should prevent the redirect. We should have updated this in the latest CLI and all other places, but may have missed one so would be good info
