Hi, I wanted to ask — does Sidestore use the proxy that’s set up in Wi-Fi settings? On my iPad I have a proxy configured directly in the Wi-Fi settings (not on my router and not through a proxy app), and whenever I connect to STOS VPN it seems to still pass through my proxy. When I check my IP, it shows the proxy’s IP even while the STOS VPN is connected. This is different from Proton VPN, where connecting to Proton makes the proxy disconnect. Based on this, do you think Sidestore would also use my proxy while connected to STOS VPN? I don’t think it has a protocol to bypass the proxy, but I’m not sure since I don’t know exactly how the refreshing works. |

StosVPN is what is known as a "loopback VPN," meaning it's whole purpose is to provide a way for SideStore to access the device it's running on, as a way of bypassing Apple's strict firewalling. With the exception of the IP address used by StosVPN, all traffic continues as it would without a VPN. |
