Ability to run as daemon

I find myself using nohup and kill -9 to run the node detached. Does it make sense to use a crate like deamonize to run as daemon? Perquisite task would be to add an IPC to kill the node #21

I don't think it would be too difficult to implement the necessary forking ourselves. See the Daemonize logic in Bitcoin Core.
