Contributing

We welcome all contributions to improve the lesson! Maintainers will do their best to help you if you have any questions or difficulties along the way. Below are links and advice on how to contribute.

Our Contribution Guide covers the different ways to contribute to this lesson.

A few notes:

• By contributing you agree that your work can be shared under our license.
• We can accept contributions via an email to the general carpentries email account, however we prefer contributors to raise an issue directly on our lesson repository.
• If you would like to add to or change our material, please fork our repository, then submit a pull request with your changes.
• This lesson already has a lot of material, far more so than other carpentry lessons. We will consider new ideas, but are most in need of refinements and corrections of our existing material.

Lesson Maintenance

This lesson has a team of maintainers, listed on the front page of this wiki, who are responsible for the design and maintenance of the lesson. Governance structures are described in the Governance document.

Maintainers meet on the last Tuesday of every month, at 10:00 UK time (BST or GMT). The meeting agenda is an open, collaborative document.
