Inventables

Inventables provides the MakerSlide extrusion and bearings used in FirePick. FirePick uses a 597mm MakerSlide, which doesn't match any of the lengths provided by Inventables. As a result, you have some options:

• The 1000mm size will work as is, but it is a bit of a space hog and you can trim it as you wish.
• The 1800mm size can be cut into three FirePick Y-gantries, which will be convenient if you want a multi-head FirePick.

A hacksaw is fine for cutting MakerSlide. Length and squareness are not critical. Please vacuum when you're done--you don't want the cat tracking swarf in the house.
