fwiw this doesn't really address that chrome uses seccomp to be more secure at all. If there is a vulnerability in Firefox that allows access to local files, this wouldn't help you. Because Chrome uses seccomp it effectively sandboxes itself and even with a bug unless there is also a bug in the linux kernel it cannot do certain things like access the local file system. |
Suggestion: add Firejail as security sandbox. The program has profiles for firefox. |

I think this can be a good alternative to the Firefox+Chromium scenario. Any feedback is welcome.
