I ran
2to3and manually removed code referencing Python 2.The motivation is to find a fast and safe way to remove the
use_2to3usage as part of NixOS/nixpkgs#155516 for the nix package manager. For this purpose, the presence of this PR is enough, whether it's merged or not.For completeness, this would close #9 and #10.
